The following are a list of the latest presentations given by the Commissioner and staff. Copies of older presentations are available on request.
Following the cancellation of the HSC conference in Glasgow, HAUC(UK) and RAUC(S) held a scaled down one day conference in Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, on 2 June 2011. The general theme was "Sharing from Each Others Experiences" The following Programme sets out the running order of the speakers for the day. Presentations from the event are as follows:

The second day of the Transport Scotland and SCOTS conference looked at road works management, focussing on safety at road works, whether the management of works is improving and possible carrots and sticks to bring about improvements. The aim of this seminar was to build upon a previous seminar held in March 2009, now that there is more practical experience in dealing with the issues involved. Speakers included the Scottish Road Works Commissioner - John Gooday, South Lanarkshire Council - Martin Polland/Katrina Quane and Scottish Water - Alex Rae.
